The Real Enemy

Ephesians 6:12 nlt
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

The real enemy is not your spouse, your children, your co-workers, your church members, or any other human being. The real enemy is not flesh and blood. The real enemy is the satanic spiritual forces sent out to destroy you. People will do and say things to us that may offend us, but we must remember the real enemy is not the person, but the demonic power that is using the situation to defeat you. Instead of getting angry we should pray for those who offend us; we master evil with kindness. When we do this, we don’t give the real enemy an advantage, but we stop his destructive plan and we win!

Prayer –  Father, thank you for making me an overcomer. I win in Christ Jesus! No matter what the enemy throws at me, I win! I will pray for all those who come against me and master evil with kindness. I know that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Thank you for causing me to prosper and win in life!
