Hebrews 2:1 NLT

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

 

We must pay attention to the truths we have heard and continue to meditate on them. Sometimes we get distracted and fail to give our undivided attention to the word of God. We must not become so involved with the cares of life that we don’t pay attention to the main thing, which is the word of God. We may not realize that we are drifting away from the truth when we fail to pay attention because it is subtle. Let’s stay focused and give our undivided attention to the word of God. In other words, when we pay attention to the word, we win in life!

 

Prayer – Father, help me to not lose focus on the word. With all the distractions that are around me, I need added Grace to pay attention to your word. Thank you Father for helping me to not only pay attention to the word, but to apply the word in every area of my life. In Jesus name, amen!
