Isaiah 9:6 KJV “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

 

The birth of Jesus ushered in a new kingdom with a new king to reign in the hearts of mankind. This is a great Christmas story. God came to live with us, die for us, live in us, and work through this. Hallelujah!  We are not bound to the authority of the devil anymore. Jesus Christ stripped the devil, who is the god of this world, of his legal right to have authority over us. Jesus Christ is the new reigning King. He is the champion. He legally defeated the devil and took back the authority over man; now all believers have the authority of Jesus Christ over the devil.  Our king, Jesus, reigns and we will reign with him in this life. We win because we operate in the authority of Jesus Christ. 

 

Prayer – Father, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ, the King of kings. I thank you for the legal right to operate in his authority. In Jesus name, amen!
