1 Corinthians 15:20 NLT But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.  

 

Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is risen from the dead! The grave could not hold him. This brings us joy and confident assurance because we know God raised Jesus and he will raise us up with him. This is our blessed hope. Jesus is the first fruit to be raised from the dead. If there is a first fruit, then there are other fruits.

 

Hallelujah! We are the fruit, the rich harvest that Jesus produced by giving his life on the cross. We believe in him and we have his life in us. God raised him up and he will raise us up. As Jesus is, so are we in this world. We have eternal life (heaven) in our hearts. Thank God for the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Because he lives, we live also!

 

Prayer – Thank you, Father, for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am confident you will raise me and every believer on the Great Resurrection Day to be with you and my Lord Jesus Christ. My heart overflows with Thanksgiving and praises to you!
