But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Listen, I have great news for you! You are in control. Anything you want to do, you can do it. Anything you don’t want to do, you can simply not do it. Maybe you think you can’t, but you can. You are a new spirit being. You have the ability, in your spirit, to produce different outward actions. You may have the same desires, but you can control your desires. You are a child of God and you don’t produce the fruit of your flesh any longer, but you produce the dynamic fruit of the spirit called self control. Yes, you can control yourself. You can do what will cause you to win in life. Anything that will cause you to fall and causes destruction in your life, you will not do it. Live a life under control.
Prayer – Father, I thank you for giving me the inner strength to be in control of my actions. I purpose to never allow my emotions to control my actions. I am in control of my actions in Jesus name, amen.
