Build them Up

Romans 15:2
We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord.

In the kingdom of God we consider others. We should always do whatever is necessary for our brothers and sisters to be built up in the faith. Sometimes it requires us not to say and do things that will cause them to stumble. For example, a maturing Saint may think it is fine for them to attend a secular social entertainment event, but an immature, new believer may feel they can’t go. The maturing believer should not try to convince them it’s okay, but if necessary to build them up and demonstrate Kingdom love, they should not attend for the sake of the immature saint. We are in the kingdom of God and we want our brothers and sisters to win, therefore, we will make sacrifices and do whatever is necessary to build them up in Christ. We win because we love like Jesus.

Prayer – Father give me wisdom to minister to my Covenant, Kingdom brothers and sisters. Help me to say and do what will build them up and encourage them in Christ. Amen.
