Boldness

Acts 4:29 KJV
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

In this passage of scripture, Peter prayed for boldness. The church was being persecuted because of the great works they were doing in the name of Jesus. They did not come together to have a pity party and talk about how hard things were, or complain about being persecuted. They came together with holy ghost power and prayed for greater boldness to continue preaching the Good News and for God to do even greater signs, wonders, and miracles. This is how we should operate. Regardless of what we are being challenged with, we should never murmur and complain (Philippians 2:14). Let’s follow the Bible pattern. Instead of talking about the problem, let’s pray for boldness to continue preaching the Good News about Jesus Christ. The enemy will bring things against you to tempt you to doubt God. The enemy wants you to shut up and stop talking about the amazing life Jesus Christ purchased for everyone to receive. We win because Jesus Christ and we will tell our story to others. We will boldly share what God has done for us. Like the songs says, “Look What the Lord Has Done!”

Prayer – Father, I pray that you give me boldness to continue sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. You are doing great things in my life and I will boldly share with others. Amen!
