Be Honest with God

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NLT
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

You can be honest with God concerning how you feel (your emotions). Sometimes we mistakenly think it is a sign of weakness, or lack of faith, if we be sincere with God about how we really feel. If you are experiencing a major challenge God tells us to call on him (Jeremiah 33:3). In fact, we have many examples of men and women of faith who cried out to God when things got tough. God loves us and he wants us to look to him and not to someone else in our tough times. Apostle Paul ask God to help him three times in a difficult situation. God told Paul he was giving him added Grace (God Supernatural ability) to be successful. We can be honest with God about our real emotions. Then and only then will God give us the supernatural help we need to win in every area of life.

Prayer – I thank you Father for receiving me and always hearing me even when I am pouring out my emotional pain and fears to you. I thank you for hearing me and helping me during tough challenges. In Jesus name, amen!
