Matthew 3:17 KJV
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Imagine what this did to Jesus when he heard God, his Father saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” God was well pleased with Jesus and he is well pleased with every believer. Sure, no one does everything right, but we are not under the legalism of the law, but under God’s amazing grace. God is pleased with us and we meet God’s approval because of our faith in him. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). We are born again by faith in Jesus, therefore, we are approved by God. We can access all the riches of our inheritance as Heirs of the almighty God. Think about this: God is saying about you what he said about Jesus. You are my beloved Son/daughter in whom I am well pleased! You are a winner because God is well pleased with you!
Prayer – I am humbled and thankful to know you are well pleased with me. I am aware that there are times when I miss the mark, but it gives me assurance that I will win in life because you are always well pleased with me. In Jesus name, amen!
