2 Corinthians 12:13 NLT
The only thing I failed to do, which I do in the other churches, was to become a financial burden to you. Please forgive me for this wrong!
Paul told the church at Corinth that they were inferior because he didn’t allow them to give, or sow, financially. Wow! This is an amazing truth. The Apostle said he made them an inferior church because he didn’t instruct them on the importance of financial giving in the word of God. If we flip the script we can say a superior church is a church that the members gives financially. Financial giving is an important part of our worship to God. Jesus said, our treasure is where our heart is. We are a superior church when we give because this indicates our heart is in the work of God.
Our financial giving frees us from the world’s system and connects us to God’s Kingdom Financial system. God said he will multiply the financial seeds we sow. We will be a superior strong financial church because individually we will be financially Superior. God has made you financially Superior through being a cheerful Giver, therefore, our church is not inferior, but a superior New Covenant kingdom of God Church. You win through cheerful giving!
Prayer – Father, I thank you for giving me finances to give into the kingdom of God. My personal life and my church are Superior because I give and you multiply the seeds I sow!
