What You Say, Matters

Matthew 12:36 – 37 NLT
And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. 37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

The words we speak carry a lot of weight in the realm of the spirit. In fact, Jesus said we will give account for every idle, or unproductive word we speak. Our words will justify, or condemn us. What we say, matters. Death and life is in the power of our tongue. What we speak will create the amazing future God planned for us, or our words will minister destruction to our future. We must be slow to speak because what we say really matters.
We must take the necessary time to find out what God says in his word is ours and confess that. God, in his word, reveals to us what he desires for us to receive. His will, will be our reality if we say what he said in the word. Don’t take what you say for granted; what you say matters. Your future is under the control of the words you speak. Speak words of God only and you will always win in Christ.

Prayer – Father, I purpose to only speak words that agree with your will for my life. I am confident I will receive the amazingly great life you planned for me. In Jesus name, amen!
