In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

 

On the cross, Jesus Christ defeated the giant Satan, and all the demonic authorities. His victory was our Victory. When Jesus defeated the spiritual rulers and authorities, that was for us to be free from all satanic bondages.

Jesus Christ is our liberator. We were held captive by the giant Satan, but now we are free! We are winners in Christ! The giant has fallen! We take advantage of our freedom by faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus defeated the devil, therefore, I am free!
