Jeremiah 42:6 GNTD

Whether it pleases us or not, we will obey the Lord our God, to whom we are asking you to pray. All will go well with us if we obey him.”

 

There are instructions given to us in the word of God that challenges us to do things we aren’t comfortable with… and to make it really plain, we just don’t feel like doing it. When someone offends you on purpose, you may not feel like forgiving them and especially not praying for them. However, it is encouraging to hear the word of the goodness of God and who we are in Christ Jesus. We shouldn’t just receive the parts of the word that doesn’t challenge us. We must also act on the word that instructs us to do what we wouldn’t naturally do.

The instructions in the word will bring increase in our lives when we do it. Doing the word is the path to Victory in our lives. Regardless if you agree or disagree with the instruction, like it or dislike it, feel like or don’t feel like doing it, we must act on the word of God. We win in life when we do the word.

 

Prayer – Father, I thank you for your word. Help me to do the word regardless of what I think or feel. I know your word will produce the success I desire in every situation. In Jesus name!
