Real Faith

Romans 4:16-21 NLT
So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”  And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Real faith is not based on your senses (hearing, feeling, Etc.). Real faith is not mentally accepting that the word is true. Real faith is believing and acting on the word regardless of what your senses are saying. Real faith is not moved by feelings. Real faith is not moved by what we see. Real faith may not make sense. Real faith goes beyond our natural understanding.

God told Abraham he was going to have a son in he and his wife’s old age. Abraham refused to be moved by his senses. It didn’t make sense to his natural mind, but Abraham made a conscious decision to believe God. Abraham’s real faith in God produced the promised son when he was 100 years young.

We have real faith in God. We have the real faith of Jesus Christ. Refuse to be moved by your senses. Refuse to be moved by your reasoning’s. Real Faith chooses to believe God regardless of all contradicting circumstances. Real faith causes us to win in life. Don’t be moved by the negative things that goes against the promised word. Release REAL faith from your heart. Believe and act on the word of God and you will receive the promised results.

Prayer – Father, I have REAL faith in you and your word. I will not be moved by what I see, feel, and think. I will only be moved by Your Word. In Jesus name!
