Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
The people of God, through the leadership of Moses and by the power of the almighty God, had an amazing victory over a vicious enemy. Moses and all the people knew it had to be God who enabled them to conquer the enemy. After the Victory, Moses built an altar to worship God and called it Jehovah Nissi: the Lord is my banner of victory. Banners were raised and waved in celebration of victory. Today, we can wave our Banner of Victory because we know we always win in Christ Jesus. Jesus is our victory!
Jesus Christ defeated the devil for our benefit and we celebrate the victory over the enemy. Satan and all his demonic forces are defeated foes. We must keep them in their place of defeat in our lives. Satan, as a roaring lion, will try to make you think he is in charge, but the real lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ, defeated him at the cross. We share the victory Jesus won for us. We wave the banner of Victory! Jesus Christ is our Jehovah Nissi. We are winners because of Jesus Christ. He is our Banner of Victory! Hallelujah!
Prayer – Father, I will always win in every area and over all the challenges of the enemy. Jesus Christ is my victory. He defeated the devil and all demonic powers for me. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving me the victory! Amen!
