HTBC Prayer
Father, this is the day You have made — a day of love, joy, peace, divine health, wealth, and victory in every area of our lives. We rejoice and are glad. Hallelujah! Thank You, Father, for the spirit of adoption. You are our Father. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, our Helper. The Holy Spirit will lead us, guide us, teach us, reveal things to us, and show us things to come. Thank You for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, who shed His blood for our benefit.
Because of Jesus, we are forgiven. Because of Jesus, we are healed. Because of Jesus, we are delivered. Because of Jesus, we are right with God. Because of Jesus, we are new creations. Because of Jesus, we are delivered from the power of darkness, and we are in the Kingdom of Christ Jesus. Because of Jesus, we have authority over all the abilities of the devil, and nothing can harm us. Because of Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit living in us. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. Because of Jesus, we are rich. He became poor so that we can be rich. Because of Jesus, we are blessed.
Thank You for Your Word, the truth that sets us free. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for our HTBC family growing spiritually to be like Jesus in our thinking, speaking, acting, and receiving. Thank you for your wisdom. We know what to do and say in every situation. Thank You for every good and beneficial gift that comes from You, the Almighty God, our Father. You are the Creator, and not we ourselves. We are the sheep of Your pasture.
Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us, help us to agree as one in prayer and purpose. Help us to be like-minded, speaking the same thing. We pray there is no strife and division in our HTBC family. Holy Spirit, think through our minds, speak through our lips, and work mightily through the gifts of the Spirit in every member of HTBC. May tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, gifts of healings, working of miracles, and special faith be manifest for all to profit as the Holy Spirit wills.
May the Word continue to increase and have free course in HTBC and the churches we plant. We pray that Pastor Moore and all the ministers speak the Word boldly as they should, to make known the Gospel, and that they devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. We thank You, Father, that HTBC is a bright light shining in the Golden Triangle and throughout the world. Our HTBC family, the churches we plant, and our online ministry are growing and multiplying rapidly. People are drawn to HTBC by the Holy Spirit, and the ministering angels are gathering the people to HTBC and the churches we plant.
We come behind in no good thing at HTBC. God meets all our needs spiritually, materially, and financially. All the members of HTBC are filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and we gladly use our time, talents, and treasure to help fulfill the vision of HTBC. Jesus is Lord over HTBC.
Father, it is Your will that all people are saved. We ask You for the unchurched and unsaved people in the world to receive eternal salvation. Holy Spirit, blow Your whistle to draw the lost to receive Jesus Christ. Gather the harvest God has ordained for HTBC and all the churches we are planting from the east, west, north, and south. Holy Spirit, turn their hearts from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, for them to receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, give them the grace of repentance that comes from godly sorrow. Open the eyes and ears of the people to hear, and their minds to receive with meekness the Word of God. We pray, Holy Spirit, convince them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Cause them to desire the sincere milk of the Word, that they may grow in Christ and the knowledge of the truth.
Father, we pray newborn babies in Christ be rooted and grounded in the faith as disciples of Christ, and that they delight in making other disciples. We pray Christ be formed in them, and that they present their bodies as living sacrifices unto God. We pray they do not copy the behavior of the world, but are transformed by the renewing of their minds. Strengthen them with the Holy Spirit’s power in their inner man to be long-suffering with joy. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. We pray You give every member boldness to speak Your Word, and that signs and wonders be done through us in the name of Jesus Christ.
We thank You for every member of our HTBC family. We declare that every member is steadfast, immovable, always abounding in love and the work of God. Holy Spirit, flood the minds of the people in Jefferson, Chambers, Harris, Orange, Montgomery, and Tarrant County, and all the parishes of Louisiana, with light. Give them godly thoughts of love, peace, godly sorrow, and the goodness of God.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command the prince of the powers of the air, spiritual wickedness in high places, and the rulers of darkness of this world to stop your evil maneuvers against all our government authorities — from the President, to the governors, and all local elected authorities. Father, we pray by the power of the Holy Spirit, help them to make wise, godly decisions. Direct and protect our government authorities, justice departments, military, and law enforcement officers. We pray that Christ may dwell in the heart of every member of HTBC, and all those who receive the Gospel through us by faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.

Pray in tongues for the areas we do not know what to pray about. Romans 8:26 NLT says, And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.
For example, we do not know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. We must develop the spiritual discipline of waiting on the Lord. We wait to get a revealed Word from God. There is no amount of time we can say it will take, but we must be confident that God will speak to us. Our faith that we can stand on is based on a revealed Word from God.
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 30:18 ESV
“Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” Waiting was the lifestyle of the early Church.
Acts 13:2 ESV
“While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said…”
