John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
“If I could just have peace in my life.. that is all I want.” This is the desire of mostly everyone you meet. Peace. “I want peace of mind. I’m troubled. I’m worried.” These words are a few of the voices of those who want peace.
It is amazing that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. This lets us know that it is the will of God for us and the answer for peace is Jesus Christ. In fact, Jesus says in the passage of scripture that he was giving us his kind of peace. His peace is an inner peace that is beyond all understanding. This is when there is a severe crisis in your life and you still have peace. His peace is when you receive a negative medical report and still have inner peace. Peace that assures you everything is alright.
Listen, Jesus said in the world we will have challenges, but don’t worry, cheer up, we are going to win because he has overcome the challenges of this world. Make up your mind that you will not worry or be afraid, but you will have the peace of Jesus ruling in your heart.
Decree – I have the peace of God. Jesus is my peace. He overcame every problem, challenge, and difficulty that I will face in my life. Therefore, I will not worry I have the peace of Jesus Christ in my heart right now! Hallelujah!
Prayer- Father, you said you would keep me in perfect peace if I keep my mind on you. Help me to think about your word. Flood my mind with Godly thoughts throughout the day. I purpose to set my mind on Godly things. With your grace, I will do this and have peace in my heart and mind in Jesus name.
