Hebrews 12:1 KJV
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”
Jesus came to give us complete victory: spirit, soul, and body, but we must lay aside our old attitude and thinking. We cannot receive the fullness of all the precious promises in Christ unless we renew or change, our thinking. We must lay aside all mindsets that do not agree with God‘s word. Any mindset that doesn’t agree with the goodness and blessings of God toward us must be changed.
We cannot receive the blessed life thinking we are cursed. The curse of spiritual death, sickness, and poverty was removed by Jesus Christ. Lay aside the weak, defeated, sickly, and poor mindset of the past and look unto Jesus, our victory.
Jesus is a winner and so are we. His victory Is our victory. It’s time to lay aside the victim mentality and receive the victory that is ours in Jesus Christ. Think “ I am a winner” and you will win in Christ Jesus!
Prayer – Father, I thank you for the victory I have because of Jesus Christ. Help me to lay aside the defeated victim mindset and renew my mind to think, “I win in Christ.” Amen!
