Psalm 62:5 KJV

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

 

What are your expectations? Are you expecting someone to fulfill your expectations? Sometimes people will let us down. In our Humanity we cannot fulfill the physical, emotional, spiritual, and material expectations of others. We would have to be a super saint. Thank God for our Superman, Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can meet all our expectations.

The psalmist realized having confidence in man and anything natural wasn’t going to work, therefore, his expectations could only be in God. Our expectation of healing, Deliverance, success, prosperity, and peace to name a few or in God. He will do what man cannot do. With God, all things are possible. We win because we expect God to do what he says he will do in his words.

Raise your expectations in God. Believe God; he will fulfill all your expectations. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. Dream big and expect God to fulfill your dreams.

 

Prayer – Father, I thank you for always being involved in my life. My expectations are in you alone and I know I will never be disappointed. In Jesus name, amen!
