2 Thessalonians 1:12 NLT

Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

 

The name of the Lord is glorified, or honored, through the believers. When we do the work of the ministry, we bring glory to our God and saviour, Jesus Christ.  We honor, or bring glory to God, when we live Holy lives. God is honored through us when we heal the sick, when we go out of the confines of the church facility and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, or when we give to hurting people, the necessities of life, God is glorified and honored in the earth. 

We are blessed to be a blessing. Freely we have received now freely we give to bless others. Its been said, the only Jesus people will physically see is his Body; the members of his church. God gave us a major responsibility in the Earth. We represent Jesus, therefore, we must consider what we do and say. We want to honor God and we want others to be drawn to our God through us.  We win because of Jesus and we want others to experience the goodness of God and win in life!

 

Prayer- Father, help me to always represent you in a holy, excellent manner. I desire for you to be glorified and honored in my life and in everything I do and say. In Jesus name
