Consider Others

Romans 15:2-3 GNT
Instead, we should all please other believers for their own good, in order to build them up in the faith. For Christ did not please himself. Instead, as the scripture says, “The insults which are hurled at you have fallen on me.”

It is important that we consider others before we act and before we speak. Will our actions cause another believer to stumble, or will our actions cause them to be strong in the Lord? Will our words cause them to doubt God, or will our words help build confident trust in God? What we do and what we say to others matter. We must consider others before we act and before we speak.

We are instructed to speak the truth in love. We should speak the truth in a manner that the individual can receive it to benefit them, not our agenda. We want others to win in life. The truth set them free not the personal laws we sometimes make. The law to make us right with God is Faith in Jesus Christ only. We must make sure our actions and our speaking is christ-like and will not cause another believer to be weak and uncertain about the things of God.
We must purpose to consider others. We want to always demonstrate the love of Jesus in our actions and in our speech. We are winners, we want others to win in Christ Jesus too.

Prayer – Thank you Father for loving me. Help me to always consider others before I act and before I speak. May my life be an example of Jesus Christ. Amen!
