Leviticus 22:29 KJV
And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord , offer it at your own will.
Giving thanks to the Lord is a precious sacrifice. Giving thanks to the Lord, our God, should be done willingly. We choose to give thanks to our God because we understand his unlimited, unfailing, and never-ending goodness to us. Sometimes we experience difficult challenges and we are overwhelmed. We can get so distracted by the challenge that we forget to give thanks to God. He is the only one who can turn the situation around. God did it for us before and he will do it again. We may lose our focus for a minute, but we choose to give thanks to God in every situation. We believe we receive what God said in his word and we are thankful because we have it and we claim it by faith in the name of Jesus. We claim divine health, Kingdom wealth, and peace with Thanksgiving to God. Decree this: “Father, I thank you for your goodness to me, my family, my church family, and everyone connected to me!”
Prayer – Father, I thank you for your goodness to me, in Jesus name. Amen!
