2 Corinthians 10:17 NLT
We will not boast about things done outside our area of authority. We will boast only about what has happened within the boundaries of the work God has given us, which includes our working with you.
God is doing amazing things for us and through us, but don’t ever forget it is the Lord doing it. When we boast in what we have and the great things God has done through us ministering to others, we must not become puffed up in pride. God is working in us to do his will (Philippians 2:13). Let’s make sure to give God the praise for His abundant goodness in our lives. Let’s make sure we do not boast in what we have neither what we do as if we did it apart from the help of Holy Spirit. We win, we are victorious, and we do exploits, but it is because Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit lives big inside of us helping and empowering us.
Prayer – Father, I boast in you. It is because of you that I have an abundant life and can do the works Jesus did. Amen!
