A Great Decision

Hebrews 11: 24- 26 NLT
It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward.

Moses made a great decision by choosing the things of God over the riches of this world. Moses could have denied his Birthright and lived like a king in Egypt, but he made a great decision that determined his Destiny: he chose God over the world system. If you are born again, you can identify with Moses. You have made a great decision. You chose God, through faith in Jesus Christ, over this world system. This world, as it was with Moses, offers fleeting wealth and fame, but those things are temporary. We have a greater reward than only temporary riches. Godliness is profitable in this life and in the life to come. When we received Jesus Christ, we received eternal life and the temporal riches also. All is ours in Christ, now. We made a great decision, the best decision we will ever make when we turned away from the world and committed our lives to God. We win now and in the life to come!

Prayer – I am committed to live for God! In Christ I have all I need and desire. I will not look back neither turn back to the world. I live for God!
