He shouted this because Jesus said, “You evil spirit, come out of the man.”

 

 

Jesus freed people from the dominion of evil spirits. It is never the will of God for someone to be controlled by the devil. Jesus gave the church (his body) the authority and ability to set those held captive by the devil, free. Jesus shouted and commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man. Jesus commanded, the evil spirit obeyed, and the man was free. Freeing people from evil spirits is a part of proclaiming the Gospel. When we come in contact with someone bound by evil spirits, let’s free them like Jesus did. Command the evil spirit to come out in Jesus name! It will obey and the person will be free to live the winning life in Christ. You are a winner! Go help others win in life!

 

Prayers – Father, I thank you for the authority you gave Jesus over all the ability of the devil. Jesus gave me the right to use his Authority to set people free from the powers of darkness. I purpose to free those in bondage as Jesus did in Jesus name.
