2021 Reading Week 44

Day 1: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 VOICE

Celebrate always, pray constantly, and give thanks to God no matter what circumstances you find yourself in. (This is God’s will for all of you in Jesus the Anointed.)

Day 2: Colossians 3:15 TPT

Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful.

Day 3: Colossians 3:16-17 MSG

Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.

Day 4: 1 Chronicles 29:10-11 GNT

There in front of the whole assembly King David praised the Lord. He said, “Lord God of our ancestor Jacob, may you be praised forever and ever! You are great and powerful, glorious, splendid, and majestic. Everything in heaven and earth is yours, and you are king, supreme ruler over all.

Day 5: 1 Chronicles 29:12-13 NLT

Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!

Day 6: 1 Chronicles 29:14-15 GNT

“Yet my people and I cannot really give you anything, because everything is a gift from you, and we have only given back what is yours already. You know, O Lord, that we pass through life like exiles and strangers, as our ancestors did. Our days are like a passing shadow, and we cannot escape death.

Day 7: Psalm 9:1-2

I will give ⌞you⌟ thanks, O Lord, with all my heart. I will tell about all the miracles you have done. I will find joy and be glad about you. I will make music to praise your name, O Most High.
