Day 1: Genesis 3:14-15

So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Day 2: Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.  “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Day 3: Numbers 24:17

I see him, but not here and now. I perceive him, but far in the distant future. A star will rise from Jacob;a scepter will emerge from Israel. It will crush the heads of Moab’s people, cracking the skulls of the people of Sheth

Day 4: Psalm 22:16-18

My enemies surround me like a pack of dogs; an evil gang closes in on me.  They have pierced my hands and feet.  I can count all my bones. My enemies stare at me and gloat.  They divide my garments among themselves and throw dice for my clothing.
